The Captain M. DeCock Most Promising 1st Year Cadet Award is awarded to a cadet who has joined since the start of the current training year. This award is presented to the cadet who achieved above-average Recruit Flight marks, demonstrated high dedication to the Squadron, above-average uniform for a first year cadet, and shows good potential. This award is presented at the Annual Ceremonial Review.
