About Us
856 Squadron is an Air Cadet Squadron located in Pickering, Ontario. With over 150 cadets, our youth organization promotes good citizenship, leadership, physical fitness, and supports the interest of youth in the sea, land, and air activities of the Canadian Forces.
856 Air Cadets parades at the East Shore Community Centre on Wednesday nights between 1830hrs – 2130hrs.
What You Can Learn
Aviation
Sore to great heights by flying a glider or power aircraft. Keep the momentum going by earning a pilot license!
Survival
Build shelters, start fires, eat MREs oh my! Learn survival skills to survive the great outdoors.
Marksmanship
